Job Brief
An Operation's Manager is someone who will be overseeing the operations of department (Facility, IT, Admin, Network Engineers) and ensure its effectiveness in the organisation. He/she will be responsible for coordinating teams, reviewing departmental budgets and locating bottle necks to streamline existing process to ensure smooth functioning of the organization..
Compensation: Upto 18 Lacs per annum, plus annual performance bonus.
Job Description
- Undertake complete responsibility for all departmental members and ensuring constant performance management and reporting
- Aid in streamlining the tasks for the IT, Admin and Network Engineers
- Ensure timely closure of Tickets raised (within TAT)
- Ensure Quality Control in all tasks and procedures
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing standards and procedures; submitting to legal regulations
- Oversee renovations and refurbishments
- Oversee and agreeing on contracts pertaining to the providers of services like security, catering, technology, basic stationary etc.
- Undertake responsibility for Vendor creation, development, audits and overall management
- Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies
- Advise management on increasing energy efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Forecast, allocate and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting
- Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
- Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant
Requirements
- Familiarity with Facility Management, Networking and IT and Admin responsibilities
- Ability to create and disseminate actionable reports for further top management action

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Maintaining strict confidentiality pertaining to sensitive information
- Must possess the ability to work under tremendous pressure, strict timelines and dynamic work environment
- Must be adept with contingency planning and implementation
- MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management/Facility Management
- Min 5 years of experience in a similar job role

- Experience in a fast paced, startup environment preferred
