Job Brief

An Operation's Manager is someone who will be overseeing the operations of department (Facility, IT, Admin, Network Engineers) and ensure its effectiveness in the organisation. He/she will be responsible for coordinating teams, reviewing departmental budgets and locating bottle necks to streamline existing process to ensure smooth functioning of the organization..

Compensation: Upto 18 Lacs per annum, plus annual performance bonus.

Job Description

  1. Undertake complete responsibility for all departmental members and ensuring constant performance management and reporting
  2. Aid in streamlining the tasks for the IT, Admin and Network Engineers
  3. Ensure timely closure of Tickets raised (within TAT)
  4. Ensure Quality Control in all tasks and procedures
  5. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing standards and procedures; submitting to legal regulations
  6. Oversee renovations and refurbishments
  7. Oversee and agreeing on contracts pertaining to the providers of services like security, catering, technology, basic stationary etc.
  8. Undertake responsibility for Vendor creation, development, audits and overall management
  9. Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies
  10. Advise management on increasing energy efficiency and cost effectiveness
  11. Forecast, allocate and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting
  12. Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
  13. Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant

Requirements

  1. Familiarity with Facility Management, Networking and IT and Admin responsibilities
  2. Ability to create and disseminate actionable reports for further top management action
  3. Attention to detail
  4. Commercial awareness
  5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  6. Maintaining strict confidentiality pertaining to sensitive information
  7. Must possess the ability to work under tremendous pressure, strict timelines and dynamic work environment
  8. Must be adept with contingency planning and implementation
  9. MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management/Facility Management
  10. Min 5 years of experience in a similar job role
  11. Team Handling Experience
  12. Experience in a fast paced, startup environment preferred
